2025 NFL Draft: North Division Battle Lines Drawn as the Countdown Begins

Before we realize it, the 2025 NFL draft will be upon us, and we aim to equip Vikings enthusiasts with a wealth of knowledge about their adversaries. To this end, we will present an NFC North predictive draft every Friday leading up to draft week. The intention is to provide fans with insight into draft compatibilities, potential aims, and draft pick allocations among NFC North squads.

On the needs spectrum, the Bears top the list within the division, with the rest of the teams mostly well-rounded. However, the Lions need to attend to their squad depth, the Packers have some defensive gaps to cover, while the Vikings seem relatively untroubled, though free agency might swing this.

Today, we bring you our seventh 2025 NFL draft prognostication for the NFC North, which we hope you enjoy. The Bears and Packers share the maximum draft picks (seven each) while the Vikings make do with the least (five). Cumulatively, all four teams have a total of 26 draft picks.

Kenneth Grant, a Defensive Lineman from Michigan, is slated for the first round. The third round ushers in Andrew Makuba, a Safety from Texas.

As we hit the fifth round, Trevor Etienne, a Running Back from Georgia, and Danny Stutsman, a Linebacker from Oklahoma, are the names generating excitement. In the seventh round, Fentrell Cypress II, a Cornerback from Florida State, is likely to make his mark.

In the first round for yet another team, it’s Nic Scourton, an Edge-rusher from Texas A&M, who is looking to make an impression. The second round sees the potential for Cameron Williams, an Offensive Tackle representing Texas.
